Moral High Ground
Thought for the day:
For the record...
I am not interested in taking the Moral High Ground.
I am interested in winning.
And if that means kicking my enemy's teeth down his throat right before I slit it open for him, so be it.
Questions?

Before anyone comments, please note that there is a vast difference between an "enemy" and a mere "opponent." I love opponents! They keep me sharp.
Enemies, however, are after my life. It's either me or them. Given that choice, what would you do?
"Given that choice, what would you do?"
Although it may not be what some would consider "moral" but I would take the "high ground" if you get my drift. Then I would have to make up my mind... 308... 30 06... or perhaps the 7mm... the 3030 seldom comes to mind but it is an older winchester lever action and is pretty damn accurate... ;)
Mmm... Firearms are efficient. But boots, hands, and teeth are so much more satisfying. And there is seldom a need to 'splain why you were walking down the street with a loaded manicure...
"loaded ManIcure"...
"But boots, hands, and teeth are so much more satisfying."
wastes too much energy... I prefer to get things over with quick and with as little suffering as possible. Its the humane way ya know....
"Its the humane way ya know...."
Yeah, I know. That's why I'll go with feet, teeth, and hands. I'm also not interested in humane when it comes to enemies.
Baseball bats also do nicely for that :D Not to mention keeps ones nails from getting chipped hehehehehe
Just wondering, but how often does the situation come up?
Not that often, considering that I live in an area known for thieves, druggies -- users and dealers -- muggers, no-questions-asked pawn shops, and the ubiquitous entitled. The Property Crime Capital of North America. Also the Car Theft Capital of North America.
But I also live in a country where murderers and other killers get to visit our fine federal hotels for a few months before they're set free anonymously in the middle of a population which is kept ignorant of the facts by the government. And I'm really tired of people who try to justify all this on the grounds that "you can't take the law into your own hands" or "if you fight back, you only lower yourself to his level."
Fuck that. If the law isn't there to protect me, I'll protect myself. And I'll go to whatever level I need to in order to get it done.
I guess this is my own version of the "Beware Of Dog" sign...
