Happy Shamrock Day!
Don't forget to wear something green.
We at the Cavern are grabbing our bodhrans, whistles, guitars, mandolins, flutes, fiddles, pipes, and harps, and we're off to continue with Celtic Fest. Tonight's entertainment: Will Millar. We get to listen for a change!

Hi,
Just to let you know, while i NEVER served, (and I said so), I 100% share you opinion about the vetran funerals. Toast em while they are ALIVE, not after they are but a memory.
God bless
George ;-)
P.S. Thanks
Does GREEN with envy count? Enjoy the entertainment!
George...Hi back atcha! Gee...where did we cross paths? I posted comments on the veterans' funerals in so many places that I can't remember them all...
Tim: 'Twas a bland concert, pretty typical Will Millar. Nothing controversial, no rebel songs, and of course he did the two songs that everyone associates with the Rovers...Black Leather...um...Velvet Band and The Unicorn -- the two songs I could live very happily without for the rest of my life.
His backup band is multi-talented, though, and he featured all of them as individuals, which I thought was pretty cool. His ego is not so fragile that he can't share the spotlight. He also had invited a local dance school to show off their students on his stage.
The Rovers are a great band though, and wrote some pretty fun and good songs. Although I've never heard Will Millar, I hope he did them justice.
And its cool that he had a dance school go on stage with him. Seems fewer musicians are able these days to allow for syncronized dancing to their music.
