From the way he plays, I'm guessing that this guitarist is blind. I don't read French all that well, so I'm not sure what the comments say. But if they're anything like what I'm thinking, they're all variations on "This guy is bloody amazing!"

Us damn Canadians just keep amazing ourselves don't we. Erik Mongrain is a Canadian from Montreal, and no he is not blind. That is just his style of playing. He is beyond amazing. Wish I could play one chord right never mind accomplish what this man does.

I guess I was assuming he was blind because he plays like Jeff Healy...
lol... I'm sure even Jeff Healy would wish he could play as well as Erik. Hell even Eric Clapton, my personal fav could learn a thing or two from the other Erik I'm sure. Okay now I'm starting to sound like....never mind...you know what I mean.....outy....
