chimera, you disappoint. Your preference to believe the worst seems to take precedence over a need for the truth.

Garth's blog has spoken for him - I have often questioned his wisdom (not via comments or posts, but internally) re confidentiality and just plain intelligence vis a vis career plan. The man is a twit. That you support him saddens me.

Why is it you only question the veracity of reports when you don't like them?

Aw, Mom...don't be disappointed. I'm not -- and never was -- a Blogging Tory. I am truly non-partisan; I can find something reprehensible in every political party.

Yes. Garth's blog speaks for him. He said himself that if you think he broke confidentiality, then go find it. Fact is, he didn't. He took a few swipes at policies with which he disagreed, but that's it. Free speech -- which Harper himself endorsed for all MPs during his election campaign!

I like Garth because he looks to his constituents for direction rather than to the party. He is active on behalf of his constituents. I haven't heard a damned peep outa my MP since the day she got elected, and she really could care less what I think or want -- she toes the party line and to hell with everyone else. So what the hell was a vote worth?

And why would I question the veracity of reports if I like them? But I'll tell you why I questioned the report that the PMO didn't know what was going on: Doug Finley was at the Ontario caucus meeting! What was he doing there? He might be married to a cabinet minister, but that does not give him membership in the caucus. He is, however, they eyes and ears of the PMO...and at times, the mouth. So, whether or not he should have been there (not), the fact is, he was there, and that puts the lie to the claim that the PMO knew nothing about it.
