I've been busy. I've also been out of town for a bit. But I'm back now, and as soon as I catch my breath and get through all the laundry and unpacking and "where did this come from?" and "oops, who does this belong to?", I'll be back posting.

We appear to be in the same boat, I grabbed my tent and headed for the river as early as I could on Sat and came back Monday evening to find that North Korea and done something that may have been a nuclear test -- balbulican is blaming my absense from the bunker for that, supposedly I'm to be paying attention to those sorts of details... glad to see that someone else was also away and can share the blame with me :-)

Yeah, may have been a nuclear blast is what I keep thinking. From what I've been able to find out for sure, it was not only underground, it was also rather a small bomb...coulda been just a big pile of dynamite, and who's gonna be able to check?
I just love the way the media goes galloping off in all directions, don't you?
Still, it's gonna be interesting watching what unfolds.....
Where's my dinner damn it.......you're late...and the washing needs to be done... and don't you be forgetting to do the dishes afterwards!......Welcome back.....
LOL! I am reliably informed by the Kitchen Denizen that dinner is in the oven; I'm always late; washing will get done when everybody runs out of clean underwear; and if we don't like dirty dishes stacked all over the place, we can buy the Kitchen Denizen a dishwasher!
